Bianchini’s journey began in the Italian countryside, but his professional trajectory was defined by the relentless pace of corporate consulting and later, the sprawling innovation of Google. Joining the tech giant in 2012, he navigated a career that took him from Milan to Dubai, eventually managing regional operations while earning an annual compensation exceeding $300,000. Despite the perks of life at one of the world's most influential companies, he found himself increasingly troubled by the nature of his work, which prioritized consumption over conservation.
His transition was deliberate rather than impulsive. While still employed, Bianchini completed a master’s degree in sustainable studies at Harvard and took a sabbatical to work on a reforestation project in Cambodia. That experience—focused on restoring 100,000 hectares of flooded forest—provided the clarity he needed to sever ties with the tech sector. Now based in the Netherlands, he works as an independent consultant, leveraging his background in finance to secure funding for green initiatives. For Bianchini, the move represents a shift from selling products to addressing the climate crisis, trading corporate security for a sense of purpose he could no longer ignore.
