Caitlin Long

Caitlin Long is aWall Street veteranwho has been active in bitcoin since 2012, and whose passion is a fair and stable financial system. She is also a founder and CEO of Custodia Bank (formerly Avanti) and one of the leading blockchain consultants and experts in the U.S. State of Wyoming. Before devoting her career to digital assets, Long spent 22 years on Wall Street. She holds a degree from Harvard Law school.

She has been active in the bitcoin space since 2012 Previously, she worked at Credit Suisse, Salomon Brothers, and Morgan Stanley's pension solutions business. In 2018-19, Caitlin helped the state of Wyoming toenact a series of blockchain-related laws.

Caitlin Long also holds two co-patents to her name in the fields of “Cryptographic Token with Separate Circulation Groups” and “System and Method for Termination of Pension Plan Through Mutual Annuitisation”

She is the daughter of a professor of electrical engineering and an elementary school teacher who taught the children of miners.
