Eric Larcheveque
Eric Larchevêque is an influential figure in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, known asthe founder and former director of La Maison du Bitcoin (now Coinhouse). Established in 2014, the initiative aimed to promote cryptocurrency-related projects and introduced the first decentralized digital currency purchase counter in Europe.
In the same year,Larchevêque founded Ledger, a pioneering company providing security solutions for digital assets and blockchain applications. Under his directorship, Ledger grew to become a significant player in the crypto industry. In 2019, he stepped down from his role as the company's CEO but continues to be involved as a board member.
Eric Larchevêque's educational background includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronic and Computer Science, specializing in Conception des Architectures de Traitement de l'Information (CATI), from ESIEE PARIS, where he studied from 1991 to 1996.
Throughout his career, Eric has demonstrated his entrepreneurial acumen and interest in supporting various projects.He has served as an investor and board member in several ventures, including DARK MATTERS, Explora Project, Taqt, BLACK-LINE, La Belle Bouse, Qaou Outdoor, Les 100 voeux, Les Tontons Afro, Constant & Zoé, Algar (ex Permettez-moi de construire), Spot, Woleet, Stratumn, Alan, and SENSEII Ventures.
Notably, Eric Larchevêque is also theNon-Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Dodo Hotelsince October 2005, showcasing his diverse interests beyond the crypto and blockchain space.
