Jerry Brito

Jerry Britois a prominent figure in the technology policy and cryptocurrency industries. He is currently the executive director of Coin Center, a non-profit research and advocacy centre focused on cryptocurrencies and decentralized technologies. Prior to this, Brito was a senior research fellow at theMercatus Center at George Mason University,where he was also the director of the Technology Policy Program.

Brito is also an adjunct professor of law at George Mason University, where he teaches a course on cryptocurrency regulation. He has written extensively on technology and internet policy, copyright law, and the regulatory process, and his work has been published inprominent media outletssuch as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Atlantic.

In addition to his academic work, Brito is a well-known advocate for the cryptocurrency industry. He has testified before the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs and the United States House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce on the regulation of virtual currencies, and he has been afeatured speaker at numerous conferencesand events related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
