Pierre Rochard

Pierre Rochardis a software engineer and accountant with a background in the financial industry. He graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in the Class of 2011, and later obtained a Master's degree in Accounting.

After graduation, Rochard worked as a Securitization Consultant for Deloitte from 2013 to 2014. He then moved on to work at BitPay as an accountant. Later, he joined Hudson River Trading as a Senior Accountant and Programmer from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016, he has beenworking for Axial, a digital asset management firm.

Rochard is also known for his involvement in the cryptocurrency industry. He is a Bitcoin Maximalist and a member of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute, a research institute focused on the study ofcryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Rochard has been involved in the cryptocurrency industry since at least 2012 and has been a vocal advocate for Bitcoin as a store of value and a medium of exchange.
