Muneeb Ali
Muneeb Ali is an entrepreneur and computer scientist who is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Blockstack, a decentralized computing network that enables developers to build and launch applications on top of a secure blockchain-based infrastructure.
Ali received his PhD and Master in Computer Science from Princeton University, where his dissertation was nominated for the ACM SIGCOMM dissertation award. He has given guest lectures on cloud computing at Princeton and has published research papers that have received over 1,300 citations.
Ali is also a well-known figure in the tech industry, having served as a technical advisor to the HBO show Silicon Valley and featured prominently in George Gilder’s book Life After Google. He has been recognized for his contributions to the blockchain community, having been named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2018 and included in the MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35 list in 2017.
Under Ali's leadership, Blockstack has grown to become one of the leading blockchain-based platforms for decentralized applications, with over 375 apps and startups built on its network. With a focus on privacy and user control, Blockstack aims to create a more secure and decentralized internet where users can control their own data and identities.
