Amie Thuener O'Toole

Amie Thuener is a prominent financial executive andcertified public accountant (CPA)known for her role as Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller atAlphabet, the parent company of Google. In her position, she oversees global external reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and operations on a global scale.

Notably, Amie Thuener also holdsa governance and oversight role for Alphabet's "Other Bets,"which encompasses non-Google entities within the Alphabet umbrella. She manages annual budgets, supervises compensation plans, structures deals, and conducts valuations for these companies.

With over 16 years of experience at PwC, she provided accounting consulting services to clients of various sizes and industries. She also worked in PwC's audit practice in San Francisco, spent time at the firm's National Office, and contributed to the Transaction Services practice in New York and San Jose. Additionally, she served as a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board from 2004 to 2006, focusing on significant projects such asRevenue Recognition and Fair Value Measurements.
