Robin L. Washington

Robin L. Washington is a highly experienced executive in the healthcare and information technology industries. She served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Gilead Sciences, Inc., a renowned research-based biopharmaceutical company, from May 2008 to October 2019. During her tenure at Gilead, she was responsible for overseeing various crucial functions, including Global Finance, Investor Relations, and Information Technology.

Prior to her role at Gilead, Washington held the position of CFO at Hyperion Solutions, an enterprise software company, from 2006 to 2007. Hyperion Solutions was later acquired by Oracle Corporation. Before her time at Hyperion, she spent nearly a decade at PeopleSoft, a leading provider of enterprise application software. At PeopleSoft, Washington held several executive positions, including Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller.

Washington is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a strong financial background. Her expertise encompasses various areas such as tax, financial reporting, accounting and controls, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. In addition to her executive roles, Washington hasextensive experience serving on the boards of several prominent companies.She is currently a director ofAlphabet Inc.,Salesforce.com Inc., and Vertiv Group Corp. In the past, she served as a director of Tektronix, Inc. (acquired by Danaher Corporation) from 2005 to 2007, and MIPS Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Imagination Technologies Group PLC) from 2008 to 2013.
