Richard A. Gonzalez

Richard A. Gonzalez isthe Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AbbVie, a prominent global biopharmaceutical company with a workforce of approximately 50,000 employees and a presence in over 175 countries. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades atAbbott Laboratories, Gonzalez played a pivotal role in the establishment ofAbbVieas a separate entity from Abbott in 2013.

Prior to the separation, Gonzalez served asPresident and Chief Operating Officer of Abbott, and he briefly retired in 2007.
