Akshay Malhotra
Akshay Malhotra is an academic leader with a decade of experience in educational administration and leadership. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ThePennsylvania State University, where he also completed his Master of Science in the same field. He is also a CFA certified professional.
Currently, Akshay serves as Professor and Dean of Academics atMIT World Peace University, Pune. Prior to this, he held the position of Director atSVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies(NMIMS) in Shirpur, Maharashtra, where he served for two and a half years. His leadership roles also include positions as Professor and Director at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, and as Deputy Director and Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, where he contributed significantly to academic strategy, branding, internationalisation, and accreditation efforts.
Akshay's has contributed multiple publications in reputed journals. His research primarily focuses on wireless sensor networks,traffic management, and antenna design. Some of his notable works include studies on congestion-aware routing protocols, dual-band monopole antennas, and the analysis of meteor fragmentation using radar observations.
