Caroline York

Caroline York is an accomplished strategy andcommunications expertwith over a decade of experience in the industry. She is currently the Director of Marketing atGusto Collective, a Hong Kong-based BrandTech firm, where she leads group-wide communications and brand strategy. In addition, she serves as the Co-Chair of the Web3 & Blockchain Committee at theFinTech Association of Hong Kong(FTAHK), where she focuses on exploring the transformative potential of blockchain and Web3 technologies in the finance sector.

Previously, Caroline was the Head of Corporate Communications at AQUMON, Asia's leading digital wealth management firm. In this role, she was responsible for the company's strategic communications, including media relations, investor communications, and partnership outreach. Before her involvement in the fintech sector, Caroline held significant roles in the retail industry. As the Brand Manager for SCHIESSER, a German undergarments specialist, she oversaw themarketing strategyfor over 300 stores across Greater China. Additionally, she served as the Executive Director of GUSELLA, a heritage Italian childrenswear brand, where she led the brand's strategy and operations in Europe and Greater China, achieving rapid growth.

Caroline's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in Egyptian Archaeology fromUniversity College London(UCL). Her diverse experience spans fintech, retail, anddigital innovation, making her a versatile leader in brand strategy and communications.

In her current role, she also contributes to the development of digital personas like MonoC, an AI-driven metahuman artist underGusto Collective, reflecting her engagement with cutting-edge technology in art and marketing. Caroline's work is characterised by a focus on innovation, strategic planning, and effective communication, making her a key figure in the evolving landscape of digital marketing and fintech.
