Cassie Kozyrkov
Cassie Kozyrkov is a technology consultant and the CEO of Kozyr, previously known as Data Scientific. She is renowned for founding the field of Decision Intelligence and serving as Google’s first Chief Decision Scientist. Her work focuses on helping decision-makers unlock organisational potential throughartificial intelligence(AI) and data-driven strategies.
At Google, Kozyrkov spent nearly a decade, where she trained over 20,000 employees in data-driven decision-making and implementing Decision Intelligence best practices across 500 projects. She played a key role inGoogle’sOffice of the CTO as Chief Data Scientist and was the youngest member to specialise in AI and data science. She also co-authored Google’s Technical Director training programme. Her contributions have spanned multiple areas, including Search Advertising, Google Maps, Machine Intelligence,YouTube, and Infrastructure.
Cassie holds extensive academic and professional credentials. She pursued a BA in Economics at the University of Chicago, followed by advanced studies in Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University, focusing on neuroeconomics and Bayesian statistics. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from North Carolina State University. Additionally, she has been involved in data science consulting and teaching roles in academia.
Her published work includes over 200 articles, and she has gained recognition as a LinkedIn Top Voice for five years and as the top Artificial Intelligence writer on Medium for seven years. Her expertise has also reached millions through her online courses. In 2023, she joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Innovation Advisory Council to guide the impact of AI in financial markets.
