Asako Fujisawa
Asako Fujisawa is an experienced leader in client relations, sales support, investor relations, and business management within a global asset management firm, which manages USD 568 billion in assets under management (AUM).
Over her 16-year career at Nomura Asset Management, Asako has developed a strong track record of supporting successful fund-raising efforts, managing high-performing teams, and aligning talent with business needs. Her expertise spans across various areas including project management, client engagement, and collaborating with a wide range of investors, such as Sovereign Wealth Funds, Global Financial Institutions, Family Offices, and Wholesale clients.
Asako's experience includes roles such as Head of Sales Support, Client Relationship and Business Management Executive, and Analyst at Nomura. She has also worked as a Personal Assistant to the Chairman & CEO, which has provided her with deep insights into executive operations.
In addition to her work in asset management, Asako is an advisor for the World Smart Cities Forum, where she has supported the launch of a smart cities index and participated in intelligence updates and panel discussions. She also served as an advisor to Ambassador Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia, assisting with speech preparation and conference support.
