Luisa Howell

Luisa Howell is a strategic professional currently working at Ayming in London, focusing on innovation funding. In her role as Senior Strategic Partnerships Executive, she partners with investors and start-ups to optimise capital efficiency, helpingbusinessessecure funding through public and private channels. With a background in innovation consulting and strategic partnerships, Luisa assists investor-backed companies in navigating the complex landscape of innovation funding.

Before joining Ayming in January 2025, she worked as a Strategic Partnerships Executive for over a year, refining her expertise in innovation funding. Her experience spans various sectors, including advising for Oldan since October 2024, where she works as an advisor.

Luisa also has entrepreneurial experience, having founded and served as CEO of Truffore, a business she built and exited between April 2020 and August 2023. In addition, she worked as Chief of Staff at Equilibrium Labs, a biotech start-up focused on advancing liver health treatment, where she contributed for one year.

Earlier in her career, Luisa gained valuable experience as a Finance Analyst intern at Maddox Gallery. In this prestigious international contemporary art gallery, she focused on financial reporting and investment portfolios. She also worked as an Elite Athlete Nutritionist intern at Saracens RFC, providing tailored nutrition programs for athletes.

Luisa’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Joint Honours Psychology and Nutrition from Newcastle University. She has also completed several certifications, including a Private Equity and Venture Capital qualification from Università Bocconi, a Newton Scholar programme, and an Advanced Herbalism Diploma. Outside her professional work, she volunteers for Chance for Childhood and HCPT, supporting children’s causes globally.
