Dominik Tomicevic
Dominik Tomicevic is a software engineer and technology founder, building high-performance data systems.
Dominik is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Memgraph, a company based in London, United Kingdom. Memgraph is a leading provider of high-performance graph databases and graph analytics that builds an open-source graph database designed for real-time streaming data.
Memgraph has grown into a widely used graph platform with over 150,000 downloads, 3,000+ GitHub stars, and a global developer community. It is also used by organisations such as NASA and Cedars-Sinai for AI and data-driven applications, including GraphRAG and vector search.
Before founding Memgraph, Dominik worked on projects such as KiDnect (later PeThe) and participated in international competitions.
He won Imagine Cup Croatian Finals (2011), reached the Top 18 at Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals in New York, and later received Microsoft Imagine Cup Grants (2012).
Dominik is an active open-source contributor, a graph technology advocate, and a frequent supporter of developer education and community growth.
Dominik holds Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (2010–2014).
