Tamsyn Mileham

Tamsyn Mileham is an English-qualified solicitor anda partner at Dentons, the world's largest law firm with a presence in 125 locations across more than 50 countries. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law and Politics (LLB) in 1997 and completed her Legal Practice Courses at Nottingham Law School in 1998.

Tamsyn beganher legal careerin London, where she trained and later became a partner at the international law firm DLA Piper. In 2011, she moved to Turkey and is currently based in the Istanbul office of Dentons. Dentons offers a comprehensive range of legal services in Istanbul, including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, projects, competition, employment, and dispute resolution.

With a focus on international clients seeking business development opportunities in Turkey, Tamsyn specializes in banking and finance and projects. She provides advice to commercial banks, investment banks, multilateral financing organizations, private equity and corporate investors, and corporate borrowers across various sectors such as energy, transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications, manufacturing, and services. Tamsyn has worked on notable and complex transactions in Turkey in recent years.

Tamsyn's expertise lies in project finance and restructuring, where she advises on international and cross-border syndicated and bilateral project financings, highly structured acquisition and leveraged financings, trade finance, corporate lendings, capital markets, work-outs, debt restructurings, and distressed reorganizations for financial institutions and corporate borrowers.

Previously, Tamsyn held a partnership position at an international law firm in London before shifting her focus to Turkey and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). She is also a board member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.
