Lionel Lee
Lionel Lee is an experienced executive, board member, investor and philanthropist in international business, advisory roles, and nonprofit leadership. He currently holds two major roles: as the Chairman ofPlatinum Circle, a leading business group involving corporations with annual revenues exceeding USD100 million; and as the Committee Chair atThe Better Foundation, a private foundation and endowment established in 2020 with a mission to improve the world through philanthropy and by supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Additionally, Lionel Lee currently sits on the board of over 13 companies and nonprofits, and is a trustedadvisor to several UHNWfamilies and single family offices across the globe. As an asset owner, he continues to hold and grow an international portfolio of real estate, public equities and fixed income that delivers perpetual wealth.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Lee has managed business portfolios totaling over USD500 million and USD3 billion AUM. He has also successfully contributed to more than 50 multinational corporations and small enterprises across 16 industries and 22 markets.
Beyond his corporate endeavours, Lionel Lee has dedicated himself to supporting and contributing to numerous nonprofit organisations, NGOs, social enterprises,and grassroots initiatives in Asia, Europe and the US. By providing leadership, governance, resources, and support, he has made a meaningful impact on more than 10 organisations in the nonprofit sector. His commitment to social causes underscores his passion for creating positive change and uplifting communities.
